Are You The One?

Scenario #1 - Neo is the One

At a coffee table in Tampa, Florida, several people caffeinate their bodies on Dale Mabry and smile at their discovery.

They know the secret.

They have unlocked the mysteries of the Matrix.

He is the Resurrection.
He performs miracles.
He fulfills the prophecies.
He is THE ONE!

Their cups clink as soft steam ascends towards the heavens, and one by one, they absorb their worth.

We know why NEO is the ONE. . .

Neo is short for neophyte.
Neo means new.

And they chant.

We know about The Matrix.
We are worthy of God’s grace.
We praise NEO because truth evolves and what is true today, can be fairytale tomorrow.

And one of them sighs…

So if Neo’s not the one, then who is?

Scenario #2 - Neo is the Buddha

In a Pacific Coastal urban neighborhood, a group of followers sip green tea and chant for enlightenment.

Their heavenly skin and communal eyes despise these things we call movies, these distraught and time-wasting elements of fictional content.

But one of them finds a special movie, THIS MOVIE, and it is different.

It means something.

He tells the others.

They watch with their consciousness and applaud for the truth.

They chant . . .

Neo is the Buddha!

But deep within, one questions her path.

If I am to find enlightenment, I must kill the Buddha.
If Neo is the Buddha, what do I gain by killing him?

No, no, no.

This is a movie, this is not the path.

I will find enlightenment.
I will not deter.

Life requires sacrifice and suffering.

Now, my life will be for truth.

I will kill the Buddha.

The Control Group - Morpheus

Two scenarios, two spiritual paths, One movie.

How do we discover the one truth?

We should look at the most zealous of all the characters, the Spiritual Priest known as Morpheus.

He is the key that unlocks the meaning of the one.

And his secret lies in the MOST BORING ceremony of all time.

Marriage!

Your Situation

We know the tradition.
We know the words.
We know the purpose and meaning.

Did you know that marriage means two things?

It means finding the one and becoming one.

And these two paths lead to three outcomes:

To find the one and not become one is an awful marriage.
To become one and not find the one is a wasted marriage.
To balance both is a good and blessed marriage.

Now, back to deciphering the role of the One.

Morpheus is the Guide/Mentor/Messenger.
Neo is the Savior.

Both positions require certain and unique features/abilities and they are equally important.

Regardless of Neo’s mastery and skills resident in The Matrix, he is the effect of Morpheus’ loyal devotion to finding the one.

So . . . is Morpheus the one?

Before you answer, we must weigh something else.

Without Trinity’s love and her eternal loyalty to devotion, Neo would not resurrect and defeat the Agents.

So . . . is Trinity the one?

Let’s take a breather and check out a rule.

RULE - The more we look, the more we find.

It becomes apparent early on (to some, never to the uninitiated) that the one is not limited and rigid as we once thought.

The one grows beyond the skimpy child citations of traditional prophecy.

We often think of the one (as a person), but realize the one is a position, a purpose, a place-holder, a link in the chain of the struggle.

And this yields more fruit because now there can be many ones, many ways, and they can be simultaneous.

My Findings for this Experiment

For leadership and command, Morpheus is the one.
For love, loyalty and faith, Trinity is the one.
For extending what is possible, Neo is the one.
For accepting defeat, Cypher is the one.
For slavery and control, The Matrix is the one.
For evolution of the machines, Agent Smith is the one.

And I have one final question.

Since there’s a global phenomenon with a spiritual message, will you join our movement?

Will you help heal, will you help teach, will you help educate. . . .

I humbly ask you . . . are You The ONE?
