transmission #002 - what is the matrix?
The second transmission from Starship Commander Miquiel Banks.
Quote
Unfortunately, no one can be told what The Matrix is. You’ll have to see it for yourself.
- Morpheus
What is The Matrix?
The question is simple. . . What is The Matrix?
You ponder that it might be, but conclude it can’t be.
And yet, you can’t stop asking yourself.
Is it possible you’ve been living a lie, that what you know is not. . .
Impossible you think . . .
You’re in control of your life.
But upon further insight, you realize history repeats itself.
This modern era of –isms (racism, sexism, age-ism, culturalism, negro-ism, confusion-ism, etc.) brought different ideologies and philosophies, yet non-real solutions were given to our current state of affairs.
Should we continue in the tradition of our ancestors by creating new ways from the old or hang on to the sustained conclusions of persons unqualified to make decisions in anyone’s behalf, much less yours?
Now, let’s get back on topic.
You’ve heard it, you’ve felt it.
I know you have.
It calls you at the wrong times . . .
When you’re busy with the kids.
When you’re buying groceries.
When you’re stuck in traffic.
When you’re celebrating in church.
And no matter how much you ignore, it won’t go away.
What is this?
And why is it bothering you?
Many of you take this as bad, but it’s not bad.
Or evil.
Or nefarious.
It is what philosophers and ancient mystics called knowledge.
But the modern woman . . . they call it “female” intuition.
It compels you to walk in darkness, but claim that you are bathed in the light.
In this duality, you discover truth imbeds itself inside so-called entertainment.
Yes, those portable devices you have all over your home.
Portable thought = books.
Portable sound - streaming music.
Portable visual performance = movies.
Now, let’s try this one more time.
Ask yourself the same question we all get when we start.
What is the Matrix?
And you get the same bulls*** answer.
The Matrix is a computerized dampening device that constitutes not a roadblock, but subliminal filtering that distinguishes between lower and higher levels of consciousness.
Then, you walk to a closet.
And another thought hits you.
Is The Matrix an active and reoccurring symbolism that purports an alternate reality and a critique of this reality?
And for right now, that’s good enough.
You’ve wondered but never said, thought but never realized.
You’ve seen the world go from breakdancing to Desert Storm, from Seinfeld to American Idol, and still, you know something’s wrong.
But what?
What bothers you when you’re alone in the toilet, thinking you’re missing out on something.
Why are your dreams so life-like, so real?
And why do you feel like someone’s always watching, like someone’s there.
You look and there’s no one, but your soul says looks can be deceiving. . .
Whatever you decide . . .
The Matrix forces you to explore reality and to define those around you.
If birds of a feather flock together, should you analyze those closest to you and ask them the question that drives us all . . .
What is The Matrix?
In this one question, you will know who’s still imprisoned.
But what if your mind isn’t free, what if you are being tricked like the rest of us?
What if, you ask. . .
What is the Matrix?
Is it a test, a way of life, a condition, an alternate reality, a computer program, a worldview, or a crazy cyber-japanese kung-fu thriller with special effects?
What is this global phenomenon we call The Matrix?
Don’t believe those zealots out there, there are no conspiracies.
You’ve got Trump, ISIS, 911 Conspiracies, Vaccinations, Fake News, Deworming programs, Electroculture, and Chemtrails.
Nothing’s wrong right?
But when I’m gone and you’re alone, you’ll think back to those weird thoughts, those crazy moments when you think someone’s watching.
But then, you don’t know.
Questions help you remember what we forgot.
You must see the world, not as you want to, but as you should.
And so . . .
I’m asking you one last time.
